On being selected:

  • A round-trip, economy class airfare to either Washington D.C. or a designated WBG country office, commencing from their alma mater or affiliated institution.

Eligibility Criterion

  • A recent Ph.D. laureate (concluded within the past three years) or a scholar en route to culminating their final year of doctoral studies.
  • Mastery over the English language, both in its written eloquence and verbal fluency.
  • Robust quantitative and analytical acumen.
  • Youthful vigour, encapsulated by being under 32 years as the application window concludes.

Selection Paradigm

Phase I: A preliminary list of promising candidates, distilled based on their unique specialisations, will be furnished for recruitment across WBG’s diverse units. Subsequent notifications will elucidate their application’s progression and whether they’ve been elevated to the shortlist.
