NMC Nigerian Universities Computer Programming Contest 2018


National Mathematical Centre (NMC) is now accepting entries for its 2018 Nigerian Universities Computer Programming Contest.

NMC Nigerian Universities Computer Programming Contest

In fulfilment of its mandate to develop and stimulate interest in Mathematical Sciences among Nigerian youths, the Centre registered Nigeria in the World most glamorous annual Computer Programming Contest, among University Students where the finest and best brains in Computing Programming meet to compete for honours.

The Nigerian Universities Programming Contest (NUCPC) is contested by the teams of three members representing Universities. The team that has the highest score is declared as the Winner of the contest and most depend the cup in the subsequent year (Depending Champions).

Each University is to produce a team comprising of three (3) Students and a Coach .

The top 12 teams from this contest will advance to the South African Regional ACM-ICPC contests (Association of Computing Machineries – International Collegiate Programming Contest) Scheduled for October 20th 2018 along with other countries in West Africa and South Africa.

Team Registration Fee: 100,000
Date: 7th – 14th October, 2018
